We process personal data under Law no. 22/11 of 17 June (the Personal Data Protection Law) and other applicable Angolan legislation [TO BE CONFIRMED by legal].

We only collect the data you send us through the “I want to join” membership form:

We also record the date and time of the request. If you email us, we process the data you include in your message.
How we use the data
- To contact you to complete your membership as a “Friend of Génesis”;
- To manage the membership relationship once you have joined;
- To send you club news by email, only if you have agreed to it;
- To answer requests for information and sponsorship enquiries.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making and we do not sell it to third parties.
Consent
Processing is based on your express consent, given by ticking the consent box on the form. Receiving news requires a separate, optional consent. You can withdraw any consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before then.
Minors
When a request concerns someone under 18, the club asks for the consent of their parent or guardian before completing the membership.
Retention
We keep the data while the membership is being processed and, if you become a member, for as long as that relationship lasts. Requests that do not lead to membership are deleted after [PERIOD TO BE CONFIRMED].
Data sharing
We only share data with providers that help us run the website and email (hosting and form delivery) [PROVIDERS TO BE CONFIRMED], always under contract and only for these purposes, or with the authorities when the law requires it.

Your rights
At any time, you can:

- Ask for incorrect or incomplete data to be corrected;
- Object to the processing or ask for the data to be deleted;
- Withdraw your consent, including for news by email.

Security
We apply technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure, including an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and access restricted to the team handling memberships [TO BE CONFIRMED].
